Our Creative Founders

Real-life couple and parents of twins, Gracia and Peru, bring over 40 years of combined experience in participatory, co-creative processes, art production, and narrative craft to TwinWise Studios.

Gracia Dyer Jalea (She/Her)

Gracia is a dynamic, award-winning changemaker recognized for her impactful contributions to cultural innovation. As co-founder of a pioneering museum without walls, she secured support from over 40 institutional partners and funding from all three levels of government. These resources supported locally-based, co-created projects that united diverse groups across various disciplines and sectors to pursue shared goals. Currently, she holds a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Doctoral Fellowship at Concordia University where she has long been affiliated with the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling. Moreover, she is a part-time professor at Concordia's School of Community and Public Affairs where she teaches a course on Public Affairs Communications.

Peru Dyer Jalea (He/Him)

Peru is an internationally recognized Peruvian-Canadian artist whose transformative work revitalizes neglected public spaces into vibrant, imaginative realms that inspire and uplift, leaving a lasting impression on urban landscapes and communities worldwide.
